THE "CELTIC" NAME WAS RETAINED FOR TRADITIONAL PURPOSES FROM THE FORMER CLUB, WHO'S FOUNDERS WERE BIG SUPPORTS OF THE SCOTTISH PREMIER LEAGUE SIDE. B.S.CELTIC JOINED THE BURY AND DISTRICT SUNDAY LEAGUE IN THE SEASON 2001/2002 AND FINISHED A CREDITABLE FOURTH IN THEIR FIST SEASON. THE TEAM HAS HAD ITS SHARE OF CHARACTERS OVER RECENT SEASONS SUCH AS DARREN "TOLLY" TALBOT, MARK GRAY, NICK BOYLE, GAV HAYHOE, BIRDIE,LIAM SHORE, DRIS KRISCH,NEIL YOUNG AND NOT FORGETTING GARY DISTIN WHO DECIDED HE'D HAD ENOUGH OF FOOTBALL AND WALKED OFF DURING THE SECOND HALF AGAINST WOOLPIT. WE MUST NOT FORGET THE MANAGMENT DUO OF STEVE POLSTEN AND JAMES MURREY.OUR BIGGEST ACHEIVMENT SO FAR IS RUNNRES UP TO ATHLETIC MORETON HALL IN THE 4TH DIV KO CUP .
