Kick Off : 10:30 Meeting Time :

bs celtic started the stronger in this div 2 encounter moving the ball well with precise passing which created numerous chances to go in front . it wasn't until the 39th minute a.butler put them ahead from close range. rattlesden came close to an equalier but the cross flashed across the face of celtic's goal but no one was on hand to score . celtic introduced l.norton and he caused problems with his constant running and tackling. he should have put celtic further in front but saw his chace go over the bar . m.zdrenka also failed from the spot this gave rattlesden a lift and they got on level terms and then prduced some good football. they started dominating the middle of the park and it looked like they might go on and get all the points . b.barnes had other ideas and scored in his first game of the year. this settled celtic down and they were able to relax and give veteran d.rolfe a rare outing .
